...Bom Xe
It can get downright hot here in Vietnam and many people just go to sleep at around noontime. This fellow is a "bom xe" man, which means he pumps up motorbike tires at the side of the road. It looks like it's going to be a slow day for him revenue-wise.

I really liked what you wrote about travelling in Vietnam to the places in Fourth Uncle in the Mountain. Do you have contact with Quang now? I was interested in tracking him down for healing purposes? ANy help appreciated. Thanks JAN
Hi Jan, Thanks for your comments! I tried to find Quang by doing an internet search in the national "white pages," using his name and Vermont as inputs and it actually worked! In any, case, if you call the number that comes up, you should get his wife, who keeps his calendar. Because of the timing of my trip I could not see him, though.
